I am designing and building a custom Midi controller for use in Live audio/video performances and installations. This section is a blog of its development....
*I am using the MidiBox kit as the base for my controller.
*Above shows the core module in the middle with one analog input module connected.
*I am initially using only the analog input module to make a controller with 32 inputs. 18 Pots and 14 Faders.
*I will expand the controller in a modular way later to include digital inputs.
*Initial design layout for the pots and faders....
*Explanation.......I will be using the midi controller mainly to interface with the program ISADORA, to control a combination of video and audio patches. So, although this layout is slightly unconventional, it should suit my needs. Unlike nearly all current 'out of the box' midi controllers on the market. (hence why I'm building my own!)
